Storytellers - Set Sail Vol. 5

Are you looking for the perfect class as we head into all of your summer adventures? This class is based on my Set Sail collection but you can really use any supplies if the ocean/nautical vibe doesn't fit your plans this summer!

What I love about Storytellers is that because of the format, we can really add interactive elements that allow the viewer really immerse themselves into the book and go on a journey! It's the perfect mix of a scrapbook and something that you can touch and feel and lift in a hands-on way! I’ll be guiding you through 10 lessons exploring interactive dials, hidden messages, expandable compartments, and secret tucks, twists, and pulls! In addition to capturing the details in wondrous ways, you will also settle into some “stamp therapy” vibes! While this class is not dedicated to stamping instruction, I’ll be leading our exploration of some truly exciting ways to layer, combine, build, and blend stamps and inks for just the perfect navigational touches throughout the book!

Lesson 1

In Lesson 1, we create an interactive cover with a photo spinner and a secret tag!

Lesson 2

In Lesson 2, I'll share how I did the stamping around the photo and also the flip with a pocket that carries from the title page into the first spread.

Lesson 3

Add a gold foil acetate overlay right into the front of your booklet in Lesson 3!

Lesson 4

In Lesson 4, create the first double-page spread with a spinning tag element and more!

Lesson 5

Add a fun clear pocket with lots of layers and a secret door that reveals photos or journaling in Lesson 5!

In Lesson 6, use these simple, but effective ideas on repeat in your book!

In Lesson 7, use photo sleeves to add fun, interactive flaps to your page!

Add extra photos with this fun, triple-fold pull-out interactive element in Lesson 8!

Lesson 9

Lesson 9 is all about layers! Add layers and a hidden spot for journaling!

Lesson 10

In Lesson 10, we are going to showcase a group of photos with a collage and add a clear window for your favorite photo!
